Driver Education Program

Get on the road to the most effective driver training experience with AAA. The AAA Driving School is state certified and licensed to provide the required 30-hour classroom course online or in person (note, student state age requirement must be 15 years, 9 months old). Parent/guardian to enroll and complete the AAA 2-hour RMV-required parent class. This class must be completed before any in-car observation or driving hours can occur. Once you’re 16 years old, get your learners permit and schedule 6 hours of RMV-required in-car observation appointments, and 12 hours of RMV-required behind-the-wheel instruction with a licensed driver training school, plus, 40 hours of behind-the-wheel practice with your at-home coach before you are ready for the road test at 16 years, 6 months old.
